I've talked to others in many states, and $30-35/sheet is pretty standard for large jobs.In fact, from what I've seen, sheetrock is one of the most consistent pricing for any renovation task...I'm guessing that 90% of the country falls in the $25-40/sheet range for large jobs if you shop around (you can certainly find guys who will charge more, especially small outfits).Sheetrock is one of the few renovation tasks where going with the largest companies tends to get you the best prices (there are tremendous economies of scale and opportunities for efficiency with sheetrock).

I was driving by an apartment complex this afternoon and while waiting for the traffic light to turn green I noticed a guy painting the exterior wall of the apartment with a roller.What really caught my eyes was he outfitted himself with some contraption.

Its not the best outfit, but I know of a few people that have bought homes with credit cards, got a signed contract with a two week contingency after the closing to rehab the house using the proceeds from the sell.

@Hattie Dizmond this is common through most of the RE industry and the NOte business.you have note tapes that claim ARV ' of this and that and they are not anywhere close to the true ARVs but novice note buyers don't know the difference.Turn key the same thing happens one turn key out fit has the exact same house rent etc and one is 10k hirer then the other.. and one look at marketing agents who resell for turn key they add their vig to the top. or even sellers who list for 20k higher than market and are just retail folks out of touch.Its really up to the buyer know what the heck they are doing...
