You can try also finding local real estate groups on Facebook or try posting on some of the national ones focused on travelling nurses 

I have been a nurse my entire career, So Real Estate is very new to me, I have been reading books, and listening to podcasts and trying to learn all I can, but have no hands on experience, Im a little lost but I'm hoping with the Bigger Pockets Community and their expertise I will find my footing.

I’m a registered nurse in New York City, new to real estate investing currently in the process of learning and building my knowledge base to make my first real estate purchase.

The only areas that we've seen it turn out really well is around hospitals, especially for traveling nurses, doctors, patients, etc and college areas, like around Geneva or Beaver County Community College. 

The previous owner exclusively rented to traveling nurses, and they continued to do the same for the first couple of years after purchasing.

However, I'm not sure the seller will be able to do that as they are going into either a nursing or assisted living (I'm not exactly sure) and those places may say they can't have any assets - so seller financing may be out of the question. 

Hello investors,I have two long term sfh in Cleveland and considering purchase a third one for short term rental.Anyone with experience operating short term rental near hospitals in Cleveland for traveling nurses/ staff /patients that can provide a feedback? 

If not aware of any of these great practitioners, fair enough, but they do exist.

maybe look into do a month to month lease in the off season and str in the peak season. possibly travel nurses in the off season. if you do go the str route there is many ways to automate your systems to make it easier for you so its not another job.

It’s the lowest down payment option and if you hate it no worries put a traveling nurse in the unit or rent it long term.
