I am not that concerned right now given I think there will always be mechanisms in place to avoid it (move into one of the units as an owner, move a family member in, do another renovation, etc) but want to make sure I am not making a big mistake here.Thanks all!

Gen Z may be leading a revival in the trades. 1) In an aging population, the median age of electricians, mechanics, and plumbers is falling. 2) Vocational school enrollment is growing faster than at 4-year colleges.More young folks are considering the trades as a career.

Also, what's stopping him from going to another of my houses and installing another fence and then putting a mechanics lean on the property?
