If the president elect manages to cut regulation (Dodd-Frank) or makes it easier for banks to make money (loosen lending standards) then we could see another few years of house appreciation (more Americans have the means to enter the housing market) before the actual bubble pops.I think a couple interesting data points to keep an eye on are:tradingeconomics.com : home ownership rate + New Home Sales data show that we are far from a normal situation compared to the previous decades.

A kind lady at Lowe's (where I had gone to buy Drain-O) suggested I use vinegar and baking soda to loosen up any gunk, then use the cheap plastic "snake" to get the blockage out.

Prices in prime neighborhoods took a 10% dip.It's unlikely for the event to repeat but I expect some loosening up in next year or so.
