The banking industry and mortgage industry put on a full frontal lobbying assault with the result that the Garn - St Germain Act was GUTTED.  

I got incredibly lucky that the gentleman trying to sell it "had a gut feeling" he said that he should hold onto the property until the underwriters came back with a yes for me.

Trust your instincts and remember that every investment comes with some risk, but you’re in a strong position to manage that risk.

This is because I would need to gut it and bring it to highest and best.
