Anyway, be careful what you wish for.....Wow....sounds like you need to get rid of those properties and move on to greener pastures lol.

But I loved the quality of building materials in many of these old homes and expect them to be there in 2114 and doing just fine, provided the planet is still here.

Unfortunately, there is a huge financial price to pay for our mistake.As much as we like to think the grass is greener on the other side, that's rarely the case.

lots of great points here, 1,000 of any type of income producing property is not the craziest idea on the planet that's for sure.  

MHP shopping centers  and land developments ( which I brought most of those and worked on entitlements).they then did what many did and went to dallas for greener pastures only to lose the properties and because as you state in those days the GP did a PG.. they ended up with a over million dollar judgment on them from a Texas bank. it was major league ugly.

I have little cash saved up(little under 5K) and a credit score in the mid 500's i know it maybe hard for me to start-out under these conditions but, I'm one of the mostly hardworking and dedicated people on the planet and i know i can make this happen in achieving my dream!

After all, we only have a finite time on this planet.
