You also need to build in a very large and puffy buffer into your estimates as there will be more demolition, construction and inspection than you think.If the property has been abandoned for a couple of years, assuming the mortgage payments stopped around the same time, the lender would normally have foreclosed {Nova Scotia has judicial foreclosure}.

(Disclaimer: I worked for them a few years back)There are a bunch of new student housing buildings going up already in Davie and Cooper City along University Avenue to support University of Florida and the entire Nova campus, but I believe there is still opportunity due to the popularity of our destination as well as for people moving to take jobs at the new Hard Rock Casino and Hotel.
