Ken, I would prefer to do that, but I wasn't sure if any banks would offer that type of loan or line of credit.I think you don't want a bank, you want a mortgage broker.

You can carve into the details a bit more with a specific broker and products.

Then I started to contact brokers that bought and sold Apartments complexes and proceeded to 1031 exchange all my Condos for Apartment complexes and told my story on BP Podcast 238 in 2017.  

Reaching out to a loan broker or two could be pretty beneficial too.

I would recommend working with lenders that hold an NMLS or RE broker's license.

He wanted me to paypal him 750 so that he would send the 20k needed to bridge the gap in the loan.While Facebook can be great to connect with institutional loan officers, mortgage brokers, etc.., true private money is a little more difficult in my humble opinion.

You could put it into a note, after finding a local broker in your area (search for hard money lenders in your local market if you aren't sure where to start). 

@Puneet Mahi what about the required real estate brokers license to manage properties you do NOT own?
