My college and potential partner,have good credit score (~750+),but he had a public record.The record is account paid,but information is still in his credit report and it is said the record will not removed until 2019.My concern is that can he still get mortgage from lenders?

But Ben comes in and underwrites this at $500,000 because he knows the $150,000 to get it to market only consists of $70,000 hard costs and the $80,000 is his reward for taking the risk and for his time.

He is not an easy person to reach/contact which had ben frustrating from the beginning.
