Additionally, FHFA Advisory Bulletin 2014-06: Mortgage Servicing Transfers provides guidance required for participation in their programs.12 Baseline Standards will incorporate both sets of guidance, including these general principles:  Maintain policies and procedures that are reasonably designed to achieve the objective of facilitating the transfer of information during mortgage servicing transfers;  Implement a post-transfer process for validating data to ensure it is transferred correctly and is functional, as well as develop procedures for identifying and addressing data errors for inbound loans;  Organize and label incoming information, as well as ensure that the transferee servicer uses any transferred information before seeking information from borrowers; and  Conduct regularly scheduled calls with transferor servicers to identify any loan level issues and to research and resolve those issues within a few days of them being raised.

The other topic that's of high interest to me right now is how is the RE community adapting to the inbound marketing concepts that are all the rage nowadays.  

They dont' need a device if they are going to take only inbound calls, you can just forward the calls to their local cell phone using online vonage tools.

Trust deed investing, also known as lending on trust deeds, has grown in leaps in bounds since 2009.

Unfortunately, we don't have much of an employment base other than military and tourism.

Even areas on the coast that are economically dependent on tourism are enacting restrictions on STRs.

I have seen some pretty robust ones over the years.. some come in bound books like you get at the photo store.  

I might be more concerned if I had an STR in a place not high on tourism.  

Vacations are the first thing to go, which is why markets that depend on tourism are very sensitive to economic events.

I think that making rules like this in an area that is based around tourism is foolish.
