I painted the walls in four rooms, added crown molding to the kitchen cabinets, replaced all drawer and cabinet pulls, put in stainless appliances, and replaced the old carpet with LVT.

He does all of our tile work (master bath, guest bath, powder room, backsplash, chimney), flooring, baseboards, crown molding, make ready (door handles, cabinet pulls, mirror installation and final touch-ups) amongst other things that come up during rehab.

I have some relatives who have done this in northern Sask, it’s not extremely common but it is possible.For example, you can buy a quarter section for $120k that is wooded and have a logging company come and cut down the trees and pay you $80k.Bryan is correct in that most of the forests in Sask are crown(government owned) land, but there are definitely parcels that are privately owned on the “fringe” of the forests.

You can set yourself apart from the crown by explaining to them that most of the other people who reached out to them will continue down that road of being dishonest about the process and you are giving them to truth.
