Any tenant could be taking their entire paycheck to the casino.  

There are incredible restaurants that rival nearby New Orleans and the casinos are clean and safe and top notch. 

Ask for a copy of his license, 2. ask for his acord insurance copy and name you as insured, 3. sign a contract with the company name, for newbies, only sign contract when the signing party is the actual name whrn you pull their license info (usually from your contractors board website) 4. tap your shoulder for a good job.If you hire a GC, it is their job to pull sub permits, that's why it is called "General Contractor".I often encounter those good workers nowadays that want to be on my network, some tile guy asked me if I could hire him per contract, i asked if he was license, same reply as yours "i work with a guy who has a license", i told him give to give me the above, he then said can he work for me per hour. lol.

Saying that here’s a question..You said you had to learn to be handy, what would you say is the best way to learn that nowadays?

No risk would be keeping the money in your pocket and walking away because gambling is a pretty bad idea in the first place (I work in casinos, so don't tell my boss I said that). 

We do not eat out or eat packaged/processed food, we are working on downsizing our house, and unfortunately insurance is a requirement for way too many things nowadays.

Nowadays, at least most first time homebuyers are simply googling how the process works.

I have 3 in Detroit (the rest in the suburbs), Detroit is challenging as it is if you're local, imagine out of state, so great that you're boots on the ground; tougher to find good deals nowadays and it's a challenge to deal with Detroit!
