There will always be different types of adversity in life to over come.

One bad decision is much easier to overcome but honestly 90% of tenant drama can be avoided with a very high attention to detail on tenant screening (beyond just checking them on paper).  1. 

Your goal is to create rapport, and it's easier than overcoming initial distrust.

I love hearing stories of what people are doing to overcome this crazy NJ market. 

If you are making 300k,400k etc. a year then you can build up more capital to overcome mistakes as you learn.Not mentioned yet is capital costs.

I've reviewed and re-calibrated mine and my girlfriends finances to get a better idea of how much more I can save (about half my monthly income) by being more cognizant of unneeded spending and decided to work more overtime to spend on the things we want to do or to super charge my/our investment savings.Here's where I'm having a harder time and what I'll be trying to overcome next.1.

Education is about the quality of life more than the nuts and bolts of the material learned.There are also exceptional people that can overcome the lack of these formal education aspects, an extrovert who is well spoken, polite, carries themselves in a professional manner, worldly, is well versed in their area of business can certainly exceed beyond the average degreed person, but they are exceptional too.
