I am currently amending my leases for this as I just had an inherited tenant forget to put the drain hose from his portable washer into the tub and had been “sleeping” and ran the whole cycle while gallons and gallons of water flooded a downstairs unit.

First, if there is a need for a service in our economy there will be those willing to provide it, mortgage originators, after they can get specific guidance in SF deals will likely enter the market, so finding one should be easier, IMO.Secondly, as with any fed reg, it will be modified and amended over time.

There is also a bill passed by the State House and tabled by the State Senate until 2018 that could prevent the local municipality from banning STR in Nashville, and possibly state-wide.The Metro Codes Dept has stopped issuing any new non-owner-occupied permits pending the outcome of BL2017-608, so anyone that does not currently hold a permit won't be getting one until the pending bill is amended, or possibly never.
