Interest that accrued on an investment property mortgage can be deducted as investment interest expense not as personal. 

In 2009, Taxpayer paid interest that accrued on the indebtedness during that year.

Just out of curiosity, on future deals, have people continued to use the broker for deals or do they ever communicate with the banker directly if they have done multiple deals with the same lender?

I was unsure of how the following year would turn out, if I would responsible for 1% or 100% of the due taxes....I am glad that it will accrue interest. 

I might see what the coverage would cost for your designation out of curiosity, but if I didn't have too much into the property I would forgo it myself.
