i know that many banks have tightened up and will not lend to REI (as they are deemed to be a high-rish industry). my current employer won't touch them with a 9234943854095 foot pole. my previous employer would not as well.that being said, there are lenders for every situation. it sounds like you are doing the right activities. i've heard places like staples are a decent start as well.

I am concerned about the logistics of the tenant paying for a tank of fuel up front, moving out and leaving an empty tank, and will tenants be willing to put up an additional deposit to cover this?

Since 2020 fueled by yes a real housing shortage, but als low interest rates and rampant speculators, investors priced out most normal people with a level of overpayment and risk that happens in a bubble (it’s not clear to me all these Airbnb’s were necessary good investments.)

@Jason Cory - one correction I'll make is that Huntsville is much more dependent on military funding in general, rather than NASA specific funding, at this juncture; however, Huntsville and Madison have started to bring in other industries to fuel the economy; healthcare is a huge driver of the economy here as well.
