Does anyone know if the rentals in chalet village area have been affected by the fires?

They are hot in Whitehall, Campus, German Village, Grandview, Southern Orchards, etc.

Is it on the corner of Belfort Ave and Fondren Rd beside the Fondren Southwest Village.

Tiny house village. 

Wondering about how much a 3b/2ba fetches in the Village.

In reality cities, villages, towns arbitrarily determine the market value based on what they believe they need to pull in in taxes to support the city budget. 

I'm looking at a 3/2/2 SFR in Kingwood, TX (near Village Springs Drive), I plan to put in quite a bit into the rehab and after-repair-cost would be around $126k (I'm using hard-money lender funds with a plan to refinance for a conventional mortgage after repair).

Assessments are done at the county level by the tax assessor, and at the Village/Hamlett level if incorporated (the two numbers don't always agree).

Such as Beaverton, Fairview, Gresham, Troutdale, Wood Village, Oregon City, Clackamas, etc.I would definitely like to stay local as I'm starting out, and really wish our situation could permit house hacking, but yeah I've read a lot of comments online about how tough it is over here.
