Providing food and drink as part of the event is a must.

When I was younger a buddy said, "come over for drinks" and before you know it, I am in the middle of sales pitch.

Are you saying everyone should drink 800+ calories of sugary beverages a day?   

They also don't label patently conservative people "liberals" because they don't drink this Kool-Aid.

There were tables in all romms with coffee, tea, water, morning donuts, afternoon snacks, so we were always fed.Happy hour was about 5:30 to 7:00 or whenever, no booze provided, but soft drinks were (cash bar) Vendors were welcome and were in the lobby and designated areas.

But this last one is clearly an undisturbed pipe spontaneously leaking.Should I not be drinking my water?

There you go your drinking the cool aid I thought so..... this is as ridiculous of a model as there can be.. but give it a go  sounds like your sold on it .

I set up a section at the local sports bar/ restaurant that had a SB special $65 all u can eat (full menu) and all you can drink (full bar) bought and paid for, then invited my entire real estate team ( contractor, Atty, prop manager, territory managers,to join me in cheering on my team, the Denver Broncos (or as I like to call them, the Denver Manning's) on to victory.Not only did we have an absolute blast, but it was a great team builder and a write off to boot.

We had lots of drinks and chatted about our lives.

America was over 150 years old and still fighting to be segregated and people couldnt even drink from the same water fountain or use the same toilet.
