In many cases, the short sale package that the seller signs will say that the seller can't make money by renting the property during the short sale process.You should ask the listing agent if that is in the documentation, and if it is (perhaps even if it isn't), you may want to contact the lender and let them know what the seller is doing.Perhaps threaten the seller that you will do this and see if he has a change of heart and decides to do the right thing.

Pm threatens to evict.I had no idea all of the above happened until this week, and now pm is suggesting me to settle with the tenant.

Yes contact the seller first, you can threaten to sue over the disclosures.

One nephew had convinced the aunt that the town had taken the house back and they no longer had to worry about it… He was very angry when he found I had been speaking to the aunt and informed her that there was still an ownership interest in the property…  he apparently lost his mother recently and went through quite a process with dealing with her estate and presumably that is the reason he wants nothing to do with this house… Confronted me and said they wanted nothing to do with the property and were not willing to deal with attorneys and threatened me if I contacted anyone in his family again...I sent letters to the other cousins who I had good information for, but received no responses.

Now they are threatening to take me to court and I don't want to drive down to FL just to that.There has to be some way to prove that it wasn't me that got the ticket.
