I will try to significantly shorten the article by pointing out the highlights which then form the basis of my question.The often cited two quantitative tests from Section 469(c)(7):1.

ThomasGood reply, thanks.I won't quote your reply, bandwidth and all that :-)If you are saying that this incident hasn't cost you any money (I hope it hasn't) I can see why you are not too bothered if the tenant covers themselves or not.I guess one thing is highlighted, is to have anything electrical you supply for the tenant to use, regularly tested, and that test documented.

I was wondering if anyone has a map of their local market highlighting the hot spot and the areas to avoid.

It's not too hard to install vents in bathrooms - as long as they are next to exterior walls.I like to put my exhaust fans on timers, but in the new rental I'm building, all rooms will have continuous exhaust features and the fresh air feature will be highlighted in my marketing.

I'm also in an area where people get arrested as part of protesting, and sometimes getting arrested is the highlight of protesting.So yes, some discernment is needed in the process.
