This highlights my exact fears with an HOA.Just crazy to spend that much money and not have true control over your property.Even from the live-in owner side, HOAs don't provide that much of a safety net.

I think I know what my decision will be, but this is confusing to me (see the highlighted parts). 

If you want to get a member's direct attention in a post you're writing first type an @ and then wait for their name to appear below where you're writing, then click on it.If it doesn't have their name highlighted in a blue background it didn't work properly and you should try again.

IF it doesn't have their name highlighted in a blue background (like yours is above) it didn't work properly and you should try again.
