The edges near the stove were buckled from heat & it also had a lot of cuts from years of using it as a cutting board.Then I bought a lower grade of 3/4 inch Chinese granite for yet another rehab.

Its pretty easy right now to say "just let it go"...until the tenants move out and you find out the 5 kids are all aspiring artists who drew pictures on every square inch of the walls, enjoyed using windows as target practice, etc.

My opinion is that Colombia is relatively safe investment compared to other Latin American countries for the following reasons:-property rights are strong-legal framework is solid-Colombia’s GDP was the highest in 3Q 2019 compared to all Latin American countries-FDI continues to increase on a Year to year basis-Minimum wage continues to inch upward.

I came across a mixed use property listed on Loopnet for $650K - it's a steal in our area but it's based on really deferred maintenance - somehow this property still yields close to $6700 per month based on very creative ways to produce income.. basically renting out every inch of the property for storage and $200 per parked car. $450 for storage in the garage etc.

As you may know Houston experienced significant flooding a year ago and this Home took on less than an inch of water in the back bedroom because of debris clogging up the French drains, no other homes flooded in this neighborhood or ever have for that matter.
