But in most cases its up to you to trim branches away from your lines. 

I also painted every interior door, wall, ceiling, and piece of trim in the house.

We would do the painting, tiling, cabinets, trim, granite, and hardware installing ourselves to save money.

Be prepared for extra expenses on the interior part of the home because of the non conforming shape of the building that creates alot of customization for trim, drywall corners, cabinets, built in's, etc. 

Keep the window and door trim white and the shutters black.

Wheel chairs take a toll on the doors, trim, baseboard and drywall.

Then we cut the $100+/month cable bill and ~$500/month bar and restaurant bills.... and boom: 50% of take home pay was going into savings.With a few other trimmings, we now save 62.2% of our take home pay into savings vehicles (Investing Reserves, Emergency Savings, HSA, 401ks/Roths).

Trim and paint = $5/ft = $780.$2200 for appliances delivered. $300 for faucet and disposer. $6500+2500+300+1500+1500+1250+480+780+2200+300 = 17,310.
