Cities like NYC and Boston have so many employers and infrastructure that one or two major employers can go under and you wouldn't really notice. 

It is very difficult to manage when you are not local, don't know the laws, have the infrastructure, and can't react quickly when necessary.

And I know that the tourism infrastructure (restaurants , activities) has some catching up to do aside from the new casino that is opening up.

Are there any on-line government sources of truth for any particular city's future infrastructure/expansion/city planning plans or any private company tracking these initiatives? 

I figured since it has been completely remodeled it looks a lot better the the surrounding comps going for that price

I'm curious if anyone has experience with how developments like these affect surrounding communities, particularly in terms of rental investment opportunities. 

Getting financed when ready is no issue.The Market choice, and then the building of the infrastructure that will produce solid opportunity is very, very hard.

@Priti Ag, this particular company is an infrastructure company that is headquartered a few hours from our town so it is not a company that I targeted previously.
