I am co differing buying a VR to get into a school district for my son and it’s a good deal so I am comfortable.

Our credit scores took a big hit recently as we have been helping my son with his custody case, so we maxed out our credit paying for attorneys and all that fun stuff, then we had a late payment.

This does not preclude you from having contractors perform work when necessary and bill you on a per job basis (what your sons would be doing).

We've done exactly this with my middle son, and three of his friends...find their first house that has rental space that they can leverage to offset most if not all of their mortgage.
