I've been scouring the web for a copy of a lease that can be used in suburban Chicago area.

I've been scouring the MLS and have not found good enough deals for that strategy.

I am scouring for a deal but haven't found anything that made sense.

My husband and I are interested in buying an investment SFH here in Kansas City and we've done a lot of scouring of the areas and think we have our top locations narrowed down.  

After scouring the MLS every day, checking out properties every weekend and 2 accepted offers that fell apart during inspection, we finally found our place.

It’s the end buyer that closes fast, and those end buyers also scour the MLS, or even better work with agents and close deals that way.

It also gave me the opportunity to scour my spreadsheet and make sure all was accounted for.

Since looking for deals takes up the majority of your time in this venture, I'm curious to know what streams or sources you are using to locate these deals outside of other investors you've met.Do you spend time scouring internet ads for deals like CL, or foreclosure sites perhaps, drive-bys?

Though again, most of them are scouring the MLS for deals and will contact you if the numbers look good.
