Potential concerns with the candles masking a smell would include smoking inside, pet smells, marijuana cultivation. 

Their leases are very comprehensive, things I never even thought of, such as prohibiting growing marijuana or harboring fugitives.

Hi all, the shopping center I am planning to purchase has a gas station and a marijuana dispensary as 2 of the 16 tenants.

I would send notice to tenants letting them know burning incense, candles, cigarettes, marijuana, e-cigarettes and vaping are all prohibited due to air quality issues and to protect the property from damage.

I raised the rent to cover my increased insurance costs, but I have not raised much over the seven years.My handyman was doing work at the house recently and reports that the house now smells badly of marijuana (in violation of my no smoking lease).

The woman who lived there (and/or her guests) were clearly smoking marijuana a lot in the house.
