Having said that the corporation itself is still in this growth mode and showing red for their operations as well.  

Life changes sometimes happen and that's when you've got to change into damage-control mode and leave the emotions behind with the sole goal of getting them out asap.

Remember the Apartment complex business model is a different beast all together.

My Dad buys all cash, essentially self insures, and flies under the radar, so not an issue for him, though not the business model I personally prefer as mentioned.

I have a successful IT consulting business that has and will hopefully continue to allow me to purchase rental properties with after tax money.With all that being said, I understand the model is about  purchasing properties, refinancing, and going back to purchasing more properties.
