Just like anywhere else, there is crime and homelessness.

I've had good luck recruiting cleaners from homeless shelters and halfway houses. 

Landlords will not be allowed to ask about an applicant’s criminal history, or require the applicant to disclose it through a background check.Supporters say the measure will help ensure residents released from prison are able to reintegrate back into society, hold down a job and provide for their families, instead of adding to Oakland’s homeless population.

You might also try halfway houses and homeless shelters. 

I personally went to San Pedro, opportunity yes but...but homelessness is out of hand.

I thought the city was trying to push these as the cure to homelessness.

Honestly, I don’t understand how the property prices continue to be so high even with growing homelessness and crime on the uptick.

Whatever happened with your dads house that was in probate 2 years back, you were worried about being homeless in a very short time frame.Also you seemed to be in dire need of a place about a year ago as well. 

Personally if this does happen I would like to see this paired with legislation that no longer requires a home address to become a W2 employee, which I imagine would help with some of the homeless problems many parts of the country are facing.While I think that this stuff may help increase the quality of life of those at the bottom, I do worry that this will all make profiting off of REI much more difficult.
