If so you should be able to cancel but if you are doing it out of the inspection period you are stuck and could run the risk of losing your earnest money if you put any down. 

Also make sure you have enough $ for down payment and repairs etc.

Should I use a co-host just to get off the ground on a good foot and rack up some solid 5 star ratings, then transition to self sufficient down the road?   

We went down to thw studs on most rooms. 

I did a 20% down conventional, but was not easy as it my 3rd property.

I have been told by a contractor that the foundation of the building is intact, so it does not need to be torn down but requires a "gut renovation down to the studs."
