i would debate that a shared common space is a public space. i would not consider anything inside a house a public space. the lobby in a hotel, anyone can walk in there whether they are staying there or not.

We grew up on the River and then Leonard Lake - I understand and agree about the winter - I live in Victoria BC right now, but have debated owning a lake front property in Muskoka - trouble is, with the changing Short Term rental situation, could be difficult to take on - I would love to go there in the summer for example.

Gonna try my hardest not engage in a pointless political debate, but there goes, we actually have a real growing problem in our country in the fact that our birth rate is below replacement level, we also have a massive shortage of skilled and even unskilled labor which anyone in construction can attest to, now I’m not sure the current system of just chaos at the border is great, and I’d much perfer more legal immigration but one way or another we need more tax payers and more labor and we need to find a way to set up a system that encourages legal immigration and brings more skilled labor especially for trades and shores up social security and Medicare with a new tax base.

It would be easier (i.e combining capital) and nice to have a common goal but I’m not sure if it’s advisable if my spouse’s mindset isn’t as investment oriented @Maria Moya this is a tough debate and question I see all the time...
