Why i inquire with the city is that I notices slight moss at the edge of the shingles on the shaded side of the house which is not consistant with a two or three year old roof in our area.

Has any one had any luck with restaining on existing cabinets to go darker or more cherry?

No cornice, but I can see new darker gutters. 

A green lawn with a shade canopy of a large deciduous trees is much nicer to live near than bare rock, concrete or dirt.You need to get a landscape architect involved to generate a landscape plan.

The tree might be adding needed shade and privacy.

Since the cabinets are different colors, I dont think staining is an option unless its a really dark stain - since they will come out different shades - so I was going to paint them.

IIRC, 5 votes got a shade of gray, and 10 votes got a bluish shade.

When you want to tag, start with the "@" symbol  and then start writing their name and a list of possible users will show at the bottom of the "Post a Reply" box then click on the name and it will be inserted and shaded blue to show that it works.  

There are literally 1000s of paint types, and most will not work in this application.PS - we did a metal roof on an IHOP restaurant, and for some reason they painted it This spring (original paint was in GREAT shape, and had 30+ years on it). 2 months later the "new" paint came off / became grey, and they just painted it second time, two shades off - I really have no idea why - probably corporate rebranding, as the also redid the exterior

Then solid stain in a very similar color or darker color.
