I came back to Ohio and started working for a construction company, and have been there since. (2017) Currently I manage an asphalt plant for them in Columbus.I haven't done a ton of real estate investing, but have a strong understanding of construction, and project management.

@Tj Collins You can 1031 exchange in and out of any state, you can 1031 exchange in and out of any investment real estate - farm land, apartments, commercial, single family investments, new construction etc...The big things are timing on the 45 day window, 3 property rule and closing in a certain amount of time.

Somethings it even more expensive than buying a new construction in a class A neighborhood.The turnkey investments are not always the best option for every investor especially if you are just getting started and low on cash or you don't have reserve/emergency funds to deal with issues like maintenance and vacancies.
