I love this thread, because some of the comments are only one step away from announcing a "new paradigm" or a "phase shift" in real estate, where - because of liquidity in the market, new discoveries of uranium in Russia, and theta divided by beta over alpha - it is impossible for real estate ever to down again, so we all must pile in before it's too late and we're priced out forever!!!!

Learned this one from my best friend, who also happens to be a real estate appraiser...When entering an abandoned property I "announce" (shout) myself before I enter the property.Gives the crack head or squatter a chance to bolt out the backdoor.

I don't know right now if they plan on staying.I haven't told either tenant I'm considering doing this because I don't want them to leave but I also don't want them to be mad if I resign the lease and then a week later announce I'm selling.Should they both be on month-to-month leases?

My guess is that the $300 billion talked about is just the start, and that the Senate bill to be announced next Tuesday by Dodd and Frank will take off from there.
