I'm thinking of a client who is about to offer on vacation rental cabin in the mountains west of Colorado Springs, and they've got these great aspens off the deck that are blazing yellow right now.Hell, I could see three sets of photographs for the Colorado STR host who wants to go all out.

I want to use the equity in my CA home for the downpayment"me: "gasp" there was very popular post a few years back and LA based investor took out a large HELOC on their personal residence so they could buy 8 units in a mid west city.. that he admitted were D class and on paper the cash flow was huge etc etc.. 

I work in Daytona and I've been seeing the development that has been going on over the last few years, between the race track, Margaritaville, and the outlet mall, as well as a ton of building going on west of 95, I wouldn't give  up on the Daytona Area.

I am from West Virginia and I know a lot the state has economic issues except for a few pockets including Morgantown, WV.I am looking to invest in Morgantown, WV.

I dont think any rehabber in that city would have thought for a minute to put up fencing and hire 24 hour security this is not South Chicago or south of 8 mile Detroit or any number of rough neighborhoods in the mid west deep south.. this is a pleasant farming community with money.

every city in the US has its plus's and minus' so in my mind you cant single out the mid west particularly.
