There is a school a block away and a Walmart, Ross, Harbor Freights, Dunken Donuts and Goodwill in the adjacent areas (all 0.5 miles away).This property was stripped down to the studs and has been completely redone with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, new carpet, tile, heaters, HVAC system, water pipes and electric wire.

Are we talking stainless steel and quartz or more vinyl and white appliances?

I've never done anything more than just put in a bar, usually chrome steel works well for such a wide span.

@Bob Hines -- That's what I'm thinking... installing security doors with steel frames, in addition to the regular doors that I already have, to enter the basement.

If you don't want them putting it in your mailbox, they can put it under the mat, or put a rent box/slot on your door that puts the rent safely inside your house.Honestly I don't get it.Almost all of my tenants pay electronically, but I do still have 1 or 2 that bring me checks.

The Vendor was unwilling to undertake the work to have the tanks removed and {possibly} the soil remediated - nor would he entertain a reduction in price or an escrow of a portion of the purchase price in exchange for us tackling the issue - and the deal came unravelled.Now being obliged to disclose the results of the Phase I to other potential suiters, the Vendor ended up removing the tanks some months later.Most jurisdictions in Canada will require an abandoned UST to be removed ... even it not abandoned, if the tank is older and steel, it may have to come out.

They work at a petrochemical refinery on those large erections of steel.
