@Robert S. sorry you're experiencing this--I've been in your shoes, and it's no fun.Luckily, I have extensive experience with this type of issue (I learned the hard way when I bought a property that was basically built above a subterranean river that caused three basement floods in about six months!).

If I were in your shoes I would request a fee estimate from your lender  

Ask any agent who's been in those shoes how many people cared.

If I was in your shoes, I would have them be actual partners and guarantee the loan with you.

Ones method is to get to wealth via a slow simmer, living frugally, and coming out on the other end smelling like a rose when you’re retired (and maybe too old to enjoy it).

I looking for any personal experinaces you are willing to share with me the good and the bad not wanting to look at this investment through rose colored glasses.
