Many times, they were done long ago and actually have someone's name on them, not just some attorney that is a RA.  

@Robert LoreeI act as my own RA but I'm looking to change that and keep business separate from personal.Rentals can still cash flow here, but you have to take matters into your own hands and find your own deals to make sure you buy right, or find a good wholesaler.

Many of us are nowhere near as gullible or apathetic as an RA for a college dorm.I have many 4 bedrooms, I lease them room by room.

there are two sides to all of these posts.. you have the RA RA RA go for it come invest here posts.. and then you have post that try to talk a little bit more conservative and mention the other parts of owning real estate rentals..

@Shashank R. a bigger lot would help - my city’s ADU laws have some requirements that make it tricky for ADU building, which are good to know pre-purchase.
