After living in the property form 2019 to 2024, my wife and I moved up to Maryland for a new job.

Buying a turn key rental, in an area you know or knew well, with a property manager you've met and trust, in an area that is large enough for you to have other options to find contractors and property managers? 

After 2-3 noise complaints and a discussion, I speak with the tenant and tell them that they may benefit from a single family home instead of an apartment or maybe a different kind of apartment setup and that I would be happy to let them out of the lease if they wanted to move. 

Otherwise they would have sold, taken the tax free cash and moved on.
