What makes me nervous about 401k's are that who know's if congress gets greedy and goes to the moon with taxes on these regulated retirement plans.

James, you are right in that it does seem like they might be greedy asking for 50% on 5 deals... maybe just one or two deals or up to a certain profit.

The best way to start is doing one purchase of one note, from an individual or broker, not going to institutional traders that are going to toss out the chafe to you in Florida.

I think it’s a great idea but I’m curious how it would go over politically.Many view flippers as bloodsuckers making money on the back of unfortunate owners who lost their home to the greedy Wall Street/Banking community.The fact that entire neighborhoods get redeveloped and blighted homes get remodeled seems irrelevant.

Translation: Keep your 401k, buy index funds, don't overthink it, and don't get too greedy.

The mindset is they are paying rent and do not own so it's YOUR problem the evil, greedy rich landlord living the good life to fix and maintain things!
