Granite countertops won't put you in the right school district, if that's who rents your type of rental, if you see what I mean.Good luck! 

I'm a tenant now, and the senior building I recently moved into was just renovated with new stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. 

The rehab was high end: granite counters, travertine showers, stainless appliances, bamboo floors, new siding, foundation repair.

Here is a picture of the kitchen:I don't have granite counter tops and cherry cabinets in the home I live in.

Quartz countertops are worth the upgrade from granite.  

The problem is we start to have standards in life, we want the open concept, walk in closets, granite countertops etc. 

Speaking of rules, I just renovated this with porcelain tile floors throughout, new kitchen cabinets, granite counters, LED lighting.

This is a nice unit with granite counters, I hope they don't do damage as retribution.
