@Brandon Alexander You can do some of that today on properties you own with internet monitoring(alarm) systems and cameras.

Cameras and police are ok ideas but remember he’s got all day to  damage stuff around your property. 

You could be below market to the "average" unit in the zip code but if you're in the glide path of the airport with jets are taking off every 5 minutes, the Taco Bell parking lot lights shine right in the windows, freeway exit is two houses away, a busy fire station is nearby with sirens all night long, etc then the price may still be too high.Are there any safety issues that could be helped with lights, cameras, etc?

Never would have thought about the cameras.

If you plan on doing showing yourself remotely, you may also want to invest in a few digital items (lock or even camera). 

Security wise, we can see all of our units cameras that have internet, any time on our phones.  

Right, you could put the flyer up in front of the camera and do an elevator speech.

You see the warm colors, the natural smiles, looking into the camera (looking at you).The picture resonates with the message and the message amplifies the picture.This is psychological. 

If one wanted to take security further one could put video surveillance in that area that is motion detected, posted online for the renter with text notification.
