Subsequent cases have backed this case with a couple (including one I was involved in) where the judge expanded the 'illegal' label to cover investors like me who were trying to assign the contract.So when I say that if a judge 'says it's illegal, it's illegal', I was going off of those two experiences (the threat as well as the case I was dragged into).
