The interior of the unit is dirty as well and now they’re saying they need new floors and countertops etc.

But again, without knowing if you are looking at a quartz countertop or formica neighborhood, a more precise number is hard to come up with. 

They have 90’s oak cabinets with off-white Formica countertops.

I still do carpentry work for friends and family and make concrete countertops and furniture in my spare time.  

Consider a microwave that simply sits on the countertop as opposed to being built into the cabinetry or part of an oven range setup.Third: appraisers can very often make adjustments for things but at the end of the day, depending on the price of the property it might not make that big of a difference.

Are you generally just doing formica countertops and your basic shower surround?

I put in stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, faux hardwood, backsplash and basically re-did the units.
