I had a recent case where the inspector cited our property for cracks in the driveway.Me to Inspector: "no problem, can we wait until spring to fill the cracks" Inspector to me: "Sure, but you can not rent it out until the cracks are filled"We were talking 1/8" cracks, that only took a couple of hours of work... but it could not be done with an inch of snow on the ground.As a licensed property manger, I work with these folks every day.

He hooked up the supply lines about 7 inches above the water heater in the basement - hot water ties in 7" above water heater output, and cold water supply ties in about 7" above the intake to the water heater.Now, when I turn on my kitchen faucet directly above the water heater, the cold water runs hot for a few seconds before it turns cold.

Plants don't like bleach, and wetting them with plain water first protects them.To keep the algae from coming back, insert 6-inch-wide strips of zinc or copper under the row of shingling closest to the roof peak, leaving an inch or two of the lower edge exposed to the weather.

to me those are just normal landlord experiences..I think some of the worse things we deal with is contractors doing crappy work or flat stealing money.being a lender in 08 meltdown that one was rough.building a home that was 6 inchs to low and had to raise it up..
