Is it not perfectly normal and accepted practice to give preferential treatment to veterans in basically every other area, such as employment (veteran job fairs, "veteran preferred" business arrangements) and credit (mortgages to people with shoddy credit that wouldn't be able to get a mortgage if not for VA Loan) and banking (USAA / Navy Federal Credit Union / etc)?

Thank you More details are needed to provide feedback, but if you make > $150k per year and have a long-term rental you can’t take losses from your LTR rental and offset W-2 income (if this is a STR or REPS the tax treatment of rental losses is different).
