But we live in a culture where people believe that the easiest way to heard a living or make extra money is to sue someone. 

Perfect weather, every type of entertainment and amusement in the world, cultural events, beautiful beaches, world class universities and medical care, etc.

I lived in Crucita for a few years but now live full time in San Clemente where we are starting our condo development project.It's definitely worth coming back especially if you already have a feel for Ecuador and if the lifestyle and culture resonated with you.

I did stop into a chinese food place and made a stop at the Chevron on the way to the base (downtown area, it was kind of scary to me...)anyways, I will be out of town until late Jan.

And those that live in Oregon of course think we are Oregon everyone wants to be US:) I still Pine for the Napa Valley though that was the best place I ever lived.. spent 10 great years there.Bottom line for weather culture fun and many other reasons there is a reason 40 million plus people live in CA....

It allowed me to grow into the adult that I needed to be and opened my eyes to cultures around the world.

Vancouver is a magnet for Chinese money, and has a very nice climate (one Canadian described it as the California of Canada).  

Some may have a culture they are trying to perpetuate or may not hire because they think you are a liability, but they will usually hire just about anyone.I would go ahead and start talking to brokers now to have something lined up for as soon as you are licensed.Also, you should think about your goals when picking a broker.
