And I see some of the shakiness in Weld County with oil & gas being in the tank as it is.

Junior-Senior year I was lucky enough to get into a welding program where I learned how to fabricate and weld steel and other metals.

So I quit...that was my last job.I then started that "mobile detailing business thing" I thought of when I was welding and grinding on stuff in my parents garage 6 years prior. 

In addition to owning and holding, I would also like to flip houses for supplimental income while I'm not traveling for my welding business. 

His welding truck with all the weight on the back is super easy to take up the mountain.

My old company did that and created small micro-offices, I've seen it done for wood-workers, food production, welding, artspace, you name it.  

Oil production is a component, but most of that is either Western Slope or Northeast (Weld / Morgan / Logan).

I suggest a trade school for welding, or, better yet, go do oil and gas work while you are single and mobile.Some folks may say get your real estate license, but that's not necessary to buy a bunch of houses.

Many water districts still don't allow this, alas my houses are in 1 area, in 2012 the water district canceled our water "use" rights and welded a cap on our well. $13k later we had a water line.
