Juan Pardo:  Time zones matter. 

If I can manage my rentals on the other side of the world, with crappy internet, in a backward timezone, then you can manage your rentals on the opposite coast. 

If not I would look for a market where the strategy you want to use is more likely to work, and even if out of state investing its likely easier to stay on the west coast (same time zones, easier to travel there if needed, etc).

Therefore I'm going to tailor towards US time zone.

There are a handful on here, @Brandon Hall works remotely but is based out of D.C so you'd have the timezone on your side. 

Thanks @Andrew Postell - I am an out of state investor (out of US atually) so the meet ups are not an option (also the online ones are hard due to time zones, but thanks for the offer.

I actually have one now for you to start or end your day, however your timezone works.I was longboarding (a cooler skateboard) on this beautifully newly paved road and I notice a real estate office that I had never seen before with the door wide open.

Time zones are different and modes of communication are more sporadic but connection is generally possible.

I would think that with one HQ on the westcoast, they'd choose their 2nd HQ in the eastern time zone, as it'd mportant for international business.
