I put a significant amount into bringing all the units up to par when I purchased them several years ago and revisit anything that they need annually so there is no deferred maintenance. 

I have a couple of friends who have several rental units in Gettysburg and said the rents are good and he has many professionals who stay for a good amount of time and pay on time.

Hi Penny i'm actually an investor that resides in Odessa as well and my realtor actually just sold a duplex recently and in that area they have several occupied duplexes and some for sale.

We have used them several times in the past. 

(They did multiple inspections, also came for several full afternoons to just poke around the house while we were living there.)
